Accommodation Terms and Conditions

Article 1 Scope of Application

1. Accommodation contracts and related contracts concluded between the Inn and guests shall be subject to these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms and conditions shall be governed by laws and regulations or generally established practices.

2. If the Inn accepts a special contract to the extent that it does not violate laws and regulations and practices, the special contract shall take precedence, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 Application for Accommodation Contract

1. Guests who apply for an accommodation contract with the Inn shall provide the Hotel with the following information.

(1) Name and telephone number (or mobile phone number) of the guest

(2) Date of stay and expected time of arrival

(3) Accommodation fee (based on the basic accommodation fee of each accommodation reservation site in principle)

(4) Other matters deemed necessary by the Inn


Article 3 Establishment of Accommodation Contract, etc.

1. An accommodation contract shall be established when the Inn accepts the application under the preceding article. However, this does not apply if the Inn proves that it did not accept the application.

2. When an accommodation contract is concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay the application fee set by the Inn, up to the basic accommodation fee for the period of stay (3 days if the period of stay exceeds 3 days), by the date specified by the Inn.

3. The application fee shall first be applied to the accommodation fee to be paid by the guest, and in the event of the occurrence of a situation to which the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 apply, it shall be applied in the order of penalty charges and then compensation, and the remaining amount, if any, shall be returned at the time of payment of the fee as specified in Article 12.

4. If the application fee under Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Inn in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall become void. However, this shall only apply if the Inn has so notified the guest when specifying the due date for payment of the application fee.

Article 4 Special agreement not requiring the payment of the application fee

1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, the Inn may enter into a special agreement not requiring the payment of the application fee under the same paragraph after the contract is concluded.

2. If the Inn does not request payment of the application fee as provided for in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article or does not specify the date for payment of the application fee when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, the Inn shall treat the application as having complied with the special provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 5 Refusal to Conclude an Accommodation Contract

1. The Inn may not accept an application for an accommodation contract in the following cases.

(1) When the application for accommodation does not conform to these terms and conditions.

(2) When the Inn is fully booked and there are no rooms available.

(3) When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to be in danger of engaging in acts in violation of the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in relation to the accommodation.

(4) When the person seeking accommodation is clearly deemed to be carrying a legally designated infectious disease.

(5) When violent demands are made in relation to the accommodation or when an unreasonable burden is requested.

(6) When it is impossible to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, malfunction of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.

(7) When the person requesting accommodation is intoxicated or otherwise likely to cause significant inconvenience to neighboring residences and residents, or when the person's behavior causes significant inconvenience to residents.

2. The Inn will not enter into an accommodation contract in the following cases.

(1) When the person requesting accommodation is an organized crime group (hereinafter referred to as an "organized crime group") as defined in Article 2, paragraph 2 of the Law Concerning the Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Law No. 77 of 1991), an organized crime group member (hereinafter referred to as an "organized crime group member") as defined in Article 2, paragraph 6 of the same law, or a related party or other antisocial force.

(2) When the person requesting accommodation is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or an organized crime group member.

(3) When the person requesting accommodation is a corporation and has a person among its officers who is a member of an organized crime group.

Article 6: Guest's right to cancel the accommodation contract

1. The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Hotel.

2. In the event that the guest cancels the accommodation contract in whole or in part due to reasons attributable to the guest (excluding the case where the hotel requests payment of the application fee by a specified date as stipulated in Article 3, Paragraph 2 and the guest cancels the accommodation contract before the payment), the Inn will charge a penalty as specified on each accommodation reservation site. However, in the event that the Inn has agreed to a special agreement as stipulated in Article 4, Paragraph 1, this will only apply if the hotel has notified the guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the guest cancels the accommodation contract.

3. In the event that the guest does not arrive by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the stay (or 2 hours after the expected arrival time if the guest has been specified in advance) without contacting the Inn, the Inn may consider the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest and process the matter accordingly.

Article 7 Right of cancellation of the Inn contract

1. The Inn may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.

(1) When a guest is deemed likely to behave in a manner that violates the laws, public order, or good morals in relation to his/her stay, or has behaved in such a manner.

(2) When a guest is clearly deemed to be carrying an infectious disease.

(3) When a guest makes violent demands in relation to his/her stay, or is asked to assume an unreasonable burden.

(4) When accommodation is no longer possible due to a natural disaster or other force majeure.

(5) When a guest seeking accommodation is intoxicated or otherwise likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests, or when the guest behaves in a manner that causes significant inconvenience to guests (based on prefectural regulations).

(6) When a guest has caused mischief to the facilities or equipment, or has not complied with any of the prohibited acts set forth in the Hotel's Terms of Use.

(7) When the use of open flames is permitted.

(8) When a guest is requested to stay with more guests than those reserved without prior notice.

2. The Hotel will cancel the Accommodation Contract in the following cases.

(1) When the guest is a gangster, a gang member or related party, or other antisocial force.

(2) When the guest is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a gangster or a gang member.

(3) When the guest is a corporation that has a person among its officers who is a gang member.

3. When the hotel cancels the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest will not be charged for any accommodation services that have not yet been provided.

Article 8: Accommodation Registration

1. When the guest checks in at the Inn on the day of the accommodation, the guest must register the following particulars.

(1) Name, address and telephone number (or mobile phone number) of the guest

(2) For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry

(3) Date of departure

(4) Other information deemed necessary by the Inn

Article 9: Room Occupancy Hours

1. Please refer to the "Check-out" column in the house rule book installed at the facility for the hours during which guests may use the Inn's guest rooms. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the guest rooms may be used all day except for the arrival and departure days.

Article 10: Compliance with the Rules of Use

1. Guests must follow the rules of use established by the Inn and posted within the Inn.

Article 11: Business Hours

1. The Inn's main business hours will be announced at the time of check-in.

2. Business hours may be temporarily changed when necessary and unavoidable. In such cases, we will notify you by appropriate means.

Article 12 Payment of Charges

1. The breakdown of the accommodation charges, etc. to be paid by the guest shall be as set forth on each accommodation reservation site.

2. The accommodation charges, etc. in the preceding paragraph shall be paid in currency or by an alternative means such as traveler's checks, accommodation vouchers, or credit cards, when invoiced by the Inn, through each reservation OTA system.

3. The accommodation charges shall be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay in the room after the Inn has provided the guest with it and made it available for use.

Article 13 Liability of the Inn

1. The Inn shall compensate the guest for any damage caused by the performance or nonperformance of the accommodation contract and related contracts. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not attributable to the Inn.

2. The Inn has purchased hotel liability insurance to deal with the unlikely event of a fire, etc. Article 14 Handling of contracted rooms when the Inn is unable to provide them

1. When the Inn is unable to provide a contracted room to a guest, the hotel will, with the guest's consent, arrange alternative accommodation with similar conditions as far as possible.

2. When the Inn is unable to arrange alternative accommodation, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the hotel will refund the accommodation fee already paid to the guest. However, the Inn will not pay the accommodation fee if the Inn is unable to provide the room due to reasons beyond the fault of the Inn.

Article 15 Handling of cash and valuables

1. In principle, the Inn will not accept cash or valuables during the guest's stay at the Inn.

2. When using the guest room safe, the guest is responsible for ensuring its safety. In the unlikely event that damage occurs due to loss, theft, etc. during use, the Inn will not compensate the guest.

3. Damageable items such as artworks and antiques cannot be stored at all, including in the cloakroom.

Article 16: Storage of Guest Baggage and Belongings

1. If a guest's baggage arrives at the hotel prior to their stay, the Inn will store it responsibly only if the Inn has agreed to this before the guest's arrival, and will return it to the guest when they check in upon arrival. However, cash, valuables, artworks, antiques, etc. will not be stored or kept by the Inn.

2. If a guest leaves baggage or belongings behind at the Inn after checking out, the Inn will wait for a contact from the owner and ask for instructions, as a general rule. If there are no instructions from the owner, valuables will be delivered to the nearest police station within seven days, including the day they were found, and other items will be disposed of one week after the date of discovery. However, food, beverages, tobacco, magazines, etc. will be disposed of on the same day. Unless otherwise specified, the Inn will handle the items in accordance with the law.

3. The Inn shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or other damage caused to baggage or personal belongings left by the Guest at the front desk or cloakroom.

4. If the Guest fails to collect the baggage or personal belongings entrusted to the Inn as described in the preceding paragraph and leaves them there, the Inn shall have the right to dispose of the baggage or personal belongings without notice to the Guest one week after the date of deposit.

Article 17 Liability for Parking

1. Even if the Guest uses a parking lot provided by the Inn, the Inn shall not be held responsible for any accidents, theft or other incidents that occur in the parking lot.

Article 18 Liability of Guests

If the Inn suffers damage due to the Guest's willful or negligent acts, the Guest shall compensate the Inn for such damage.

Breakdown of accommodation fees, etc. (related to Article 2, Paragraph 1 and Article 12, Paragraph 1)

Total amount to be paid by the guest =

① Accommodation fee: Basic accommodation fee (room fee)

② Additional charges: Additional food and drink (breakfast, dinner, other food and drink) and fees for use of ancillary facilities, service charges set by other facilities, etc.

③ Taxes: Consumption tax and other taxes stipulated by law
